For all kinds of ceremonies we recommend our duo I Capricciosi , guitar and cello, who can play songs in a totally instrumental way. Our repertoire is very vast and it is the cello that plays the melodious part of the pieces. In a religious ceremony with liturgical pieces we can play religious pieces in an instrumental way, so that the priest can also sing them. In a religious ceremony , where the priest largely accepts pieces from all backgrounds (not just liturgical), you can choose our classic pieces, which we list on this page, but not only … depending on the priest, you can choose modern pieces arranged instrumentally for parts such as “signatures” or “exit”. In civil and symbolic ceremonies you can do what you want, choosing classic and modern pieces to your liking. We will certainly be able to advise you on which are the most functional songs for each moment. Recall that the moments to play are almost always the same, or these:
Civil : Groom arrival – bride arrival – exchange of rings – signatures – exit
Symbolic : to be defined, the moments are the same as the civil ones, but you can customize as much as you want by adding other “invented” rites.
Religious : the same, but communion is added. Usually the priest doesn’t want music for the ring exchange
We can also accompany choirs of our knowledge of 4 to 8 elements, liturgical or not. What’s the difference? In some ceremonies, where the will of the spouses and the priest is to sing liturgical pieces, the wisest decision is to have the duo play with a parish choir of 4 elements. In such a small formation the required liturgical passages can already be performed well. In the event that you get married with a civil or symbolic ceremony, another type of choir (not parochial) will be able to sing modern or classic pieces.
To better organize your wedding, we recommend that you contact us at least 6 months in advance. Contact us for mail or whatsapp! We can suggest you a package with music + bilingual officiant for civil / symbolic ceremony.
