Our jazz trio Three Little Bops jokingly defines itself as “jazzz“, because it wants to make you experience the typical guitar and double bass formation without boring too much an audience that does not understand jazz. We steal the intention from this beautiful genre and play various pieces that are inspired by jazz or that have preceded it chronologically (genres boogie woogie, blues, honky tonk, country, etc …) or modern songs that we arrange. The result is an elegant and bubbly trio, never old, playing well known (but not commercial) and tasteful tunes. The authors are Italian and foreign from the 50s to the 2020s, we hardly understand too contemporary music. We recommend it for weddings and for small venues such as restaurants and wine bars.
Two words for the repertoire, refined and fun. Among the jazz authors we interpret Raphael Gualazzi, Sinatra, Bublè, Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Paolo Conte. As already mentioned we do not limit ourselves to the New Orleans genre, but we arrange “cliche” italian author music by Vinicio Capossela, De Gregori, Celentano, Celentano, italian classics swing / jazz / boogie by Renato Carosone, Domenico Modugno, F. Buscaglione then we go to American country music / boogie / honky tonk by Elvis, Johnny Cash and other 60s pop music by Dean Martin rythhm and jazz-inspired blues like Van Morrison or Caribbean by Belafonte Harry, modern music arranged like that of The Strokes, Coldplay and many more . So many genres linked by our not too serious, but not too simple arrangement key.
